PRODUCT ASSURANCE AND PRODUCT CLAIMS TEST
ADISA offers two levels of Product testing for data sanitisation tools.
Product Claims Test (PCT) service is the entry level whereby a claim is made about the sanitisation capabilities of a software or hardware device. The claim is then scientifically evaluated to be true or false.
Product Assurance enhances the PCT test by requiring a larger sample set to be forensically analysed and by measuring a range of requirements of the software or hardware vendor itself. This test ensures that the development cycle and support of the toolset has been assessed and offers higher assurance than the PCT test. This test is also delivered on behalf of Dell and is often called the Dell Certification Scheme.
